Adrenline: Everyone gets anxious. In the wild, when threatened, adrenaline optimizes the body's ability to deal with the threat by rerouting blood flow from digestive track to muscle and brain while pupils are dilated to improve vision, etc. This is called the fight or flight response. Now when threatened we are expected to sit still and all that physical energy manifests as anxiety and even panic.
