Takes time: Edema or swelling in your feet can come on very quickly, but take days to weeks to leave. If you have it in both feet and the feet only, it should help to elevate your feet at night. If one sided or if you have facial swelling with it, have you doctor take a look at you to rule out a couple problems. Delivery results in about 15 pounds of weight loss. You will regain some tone over a few weeks.
