Pinched nerve: Each nerve in the back supplies only one part of the body with feeling and motor control. See this link for more explantation: http://www.Nlm.Nih.Gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000442.Htm the shorter answer is no; a pinched nerve will not affect the whole side of the body. But....That could happen in the spinal cord, or in the brain. You should consider consulting a neurologist.

No: Pinched nerve in neck or lower back will not cause tingling, numbness or facial pain. The cranial nerves provide motor & sensory innervations to the face. Cervical disc herniations and or stenosis with compression on the cord may result in tingling and pain showering down the body called lhermitte's phenomenon. But not facial pain.
