What can cause tingling in one side of the face that comes and goes?

Several reasons: This could be due to several causes such as migraine with aura, or a transient ischemic attack which usually last minutes to hours. Occasionally, simple partial seizures affect the face only and last for just a few seconds to minutes. They more commonly involve other parts of the body as well.
