If you are experiencing any other related symptoms, it is possible that you would benefit from an exam. Hard to say: Constipation would be my first thought. But i would definitely go see your primary care doctor for an abdominal exam. They may decide to do an x-ray or ultrasound if something hard is felt in there and they aren't sure what it is. If this is constipation they can prescribe a bowel regimen.
