Hypoglycemia : Have your doctor order hba1c. This is a measure of average blood sugar. Check your thyroid function and morning cortisol level. Make sure your fasting Insulin is normal as well.

Other issues: I wouldn't assume your symptoms have anything to do with hypoglycemia if the low you document is 85. Below 60/50 yes, but if you are doing the test correctly an 85 is well within the normal range. Symptoms at this level may reflect other issues with your system that deserve an evaluation.
