Very Important: Physical activity not only helps you burn calories which help with net calorie reduction, but also helps you maintain or build muscle mass. Improved lean body mass boosts your metabolism.

Metabolism & fun: Exercise helps burn some calories. Regular exercise also turns up your resting metabolism, helping you burn calories. Also can be very motivating to keep you feeling good and eating well. Can make you feel good about yourself. Do something you enjoy! wii fit, zumba, or even ping pong.

Exercise and Weight : Generally speaking when trying to change your shape you should use exercise for two purposes. To increase metabolism and to maintain muscle mass. It is not wise to use exercise as a weight loss tool since you can eat many more calories than you can exercise away. Lower your carb intake, eat frequent small meals or snacks and drink plenty of water. Work to keep your heart rate between 100-120 bpm.
