Can librium and lorazepam be taken together?

Not a good idea: I'm not sure why you would. Both are in the same classification of meds, namely benzodiazepines. Both are central nerve system depressants and similarly in the brain. The risk of overdosing or causing respiratory depression is high.

Would not do it.: Librium is a long -acting benzodiazapine. Lorazepam is a medium acting benzodiazapine. Mixing these drugs which are both in the same class could cause untoward effects.

MEDICATION: This medication is not right for you. Please consult a Psychiatrist. If not comfortable with your Dr. see another for a second opinion & have a physical exam to rule out illness. Medication does not teach you coping mechanisms. Psychotherapy with a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy can help your medications to work better.
