Not necessarily: Supplements do not offer benefits if you don't have a deficiency or a symptom. Taking them in general is discouraged without first consulting with doctor. See september 2012 issue of consumer reports for dangers of taking supplements including those called "natural.".

Specific natural ...: ...Supplements may be effective for specific conditions. Ginger, for instance, is helpful for indigestion and gas. Ginger isn't helpful for athletes foot or pink eye. In order to give you a better answer, please ask about specific supplements for specific conditions.
