Should palliative care always be covered by insurance?

A trick question!: If you're asking me to make a judgement, then yes, insurance companies should cover palliative care. Not only is it the right thing to do ethically, but it has been shown to decrease the overall cost of care for a terminal patient. If you're asking if your insurance company will pay for palliative care, the answer is "not necessarily". You need to check with them.
