Via conversion 2 DHT: Testosterone is converted into dihydrotestosterone (dht) via 5 Alpha reductase enzyme. Dht is considered poisonous to hair follicles. It is also responsible for prostate enlargement. That's why Finasteride & dutasteride, 5 Alpha reductase inhibitors, are used to lower Dht and thus shrink prostate & allow for hair regrowth. But don't forget that genetics (ethnicity) affects total body & scalp hai.
