See doc: Claudication is something to be evaluated. There are different types of claudication. At 35 intermittant claudication should notbe happening. (assuming your the one with the problem.) there are some medications that can be tried orally, but you should be evaluated by a vascular doctor. Do you smoke? If you do, stop. Walking helps, so when pain comes, stop, rest, and walk again. Go to doc.

Get treatment : Claudication, is a medical term usually referring to impairment in walking, or pain, discomfort or tiredness in the legs that occurs during walking and is relieved by rest. This is usually from arteries. Pain in the legs at rest or night cramps and restless legs can be from veins. Vein specialists can do an ultrasound of your legs to determine if it is veins. Treatments available after diagnosis.

Relieve claudication: the most important thing to do to relieve the claudication is to walk through it, in order to build up collateral channels. By doing so these detour blood vessels will allow more blood flow into the lower extremity and thereby enable you to walk further distances. If the symptoms become disabling a more aggressive management approach will be required, angioplasty, or bypass.

Root cause: Getting down to the very root cause is most important, then treatment can begin. Claudication usually has a vascular or neural Cause.
