Try diet first, but.: You can't lose weight from one area selectively, but you should be within 10-15 pounds of your target before going ahead with breast reduction. If you have a reduction and then lose a lot of weight, your reduced breasts will "deflate." talk with a surgeon certified by the american board of plastic surgery to evaluate the best course for you.

Dieting: And getting to a stable weight is always important. Breast reductions are best done prior to large weight losses as a large amount of weight loss may affect the amount of tissue in the breast and result in sagging once again. But that is only with large amounts of weight loss ( over 25 lbs or more.).
