Don't : Exercising through pain severe enough to need "distraction" is a bad idea. Pain's a warning that you're being injured. Granted, exercise strengthens by causing lots of tiny injuries that we repair & grow through.But instead of distracting from discomfort, stay completely focused on your form & what you feel.Ease back just at the pain edge & take a bit longer. Endurance is how humans are designed.
