Can too much vitamin c cause a headache?

Maybe: That is not a typical symptom I am familiar with but too much anything will cause some symptoms. Best way to find out is to stop it and see if headache symptoms improves in a week or two. If you have bee on c for awhile and then have a headache it may not be related unless you increased your dose a lot.

Overdoses of: The fat soluble vitamins: a, d, e &k are of concern. The others, including c, are easily flushed on a daily basis. It sems unlikely that a common complaint ith many causes, headache, could be another cause of headache. Linus paulng advocated huge doses as a preventitive. No side effects reported.

Possibly: Vitamin c has been linked and used for circulation issues, and some headaches may be relieved by the vitamin. More and more research needs to be done. Everyone is different, just like with meds, on how much vit c is needed and for how long. Ask your dr. Whether it can create problems too.
