Assuming...: I'm assuming you mean "what can i die of while getting a pacemaker?" ok - puncture of the heart by the pacemaker wire is by far the most common way, and occurs 1:1500-1:2000 cases. Puncture of the lung and bleeding can both occur but are usually treatable and rarely fatal. Infection of the pacemaker system itself is serious and usually treatable, but can result in death in severe cases.
