How long does it take for a removed toenail to grow back? and what makes it grow faster?

Toenails: Depending on which toenail it is it usually takes upto 1 year or longer for a toenails to regrow. Normal diet is important as are other medical conditions such as diabetes. Folic acid and vit. B supplements may help.

10 months: A nail that is completly removed should grow back in 10 months. Biotin 2.5 mg one time a day otc .Can help with nail growth.

Nails grow at : A rate of approximately 1/8 inch per month. On the great toe, this can mean 8-12 months from start to finish, obviously less on the smaller toes. Nothing i'm aware of can make mother nature do it faster.

3 to 6 months: # to six months for entire toenail to grow back, depending on age. The younger the faster it will grow. Biotin is a supplement in health food stores that helps nails grow faster. Any trauma or excessive pressure on nail bed could slow growth down.
