Unclear why Ca drop: It is not clear why the ca is dropping. This is not generally a result of myelofibrosis. The ca is generally low if the Albumin level is low. Is that the problem? If so, the ca is actually falsely low. Perhaps there are nutritional problems, medications, or other underlying health problems leading to the low ca. This problem should be evaluated by a health care provider.

Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, one needs serum albumin level to properly evaluate serum calcium level.
