A member asked:

Does fatty liver generally turn into cirrosis and if so how long do you have to live?

Usually not: Fatty liver is most often due to excess weight and usually does not progress to cirrhosis. Work on regular exercise, weight reduction and eliminating other sources of liver irritation such as alcohol. It's usually a good idea to get vaccinated against viral hepatitis as well.
