More bronchodilator: There are two components to advair. One is a bronchodilator and the other is an inhaled steroid. Two puffs of the 250 strength of advair is about the equivalent as far as the steroid goes but you will get twice as much of the bronchodilator. You should try to stay with the prescribed dose and the prescribed strength. Check with your dr.
