Is it easy to confuse lower back disc and kidney pain?

Yes and no: Low back pain is more spread out. It's not as sharp and specific as kydnet pain. I personally have had kidney stones and the pain is excruciating and very sharp. Nevertheless, they both can be similar and difficult to distinguish at times.
