Many: Many patients have successfully undergone meniscus transplants with improvement in stability and protective knee function. While we do not know how well these transplants will protect the knee in the long run of 10-20 years, we believe they can be very beneficial.

Yes: Meniscus allograft transplant surgery can be done in carefully selected patients with about 80% success. Surgery is generally done for young individuals under 30. It's a very technically demanding surgery. There maybe other options that are better for you in your age group. You should see a sports medicine specialist who performs meniscus transplants usually at select hospitals.
