ABx or Stool Tx: With vancomycin PO or a stool transplant , a high rate of cure would be expected.

Vancomycin: When given by the oral route, vancomycin is not absorbed so it can be used in renally impaired individuals. The other treatment- Metronidazole - is orally absorbed and excreted through the kidneys.

No different: Than in people with normal kidney function. Either vancomycin orally or Metronidazole (flagyl) orally in mild c. Difficile illness or oral vancomycin for more severe disease.
