Absolutely yes: Even though children may act out or seem to ignore you, parents are critical to every portion of their development. If the parents refuse to talk about sex at home, the child can perceive that sex is bad which is why mom and dad avoid talking about it. Do not let that happen. If you can't talk to your child about it, then find somebody who can and make sure the child knows it's an ok topic.
