Not good to eat..: Before exercise you should wait at least two or more hours. This is becausec exercise greatly reduces blood flow to the stomach. But there are many low glycemic fruits nuts vegetables that can be eaten. Whey protein isolate can be eaten, since it does not contain lactose.
