Steps?: I'm not sure what you're asking. The "steps" are that you have your doctor order it, go to the lab, hold our your arm, and get the blood drawn. The more complicated question has to do with the indication for the test: who needs it and when. If that's what you're asking, please repost the question.

Testing in one day: The actual test can be done in one day. Often the labs batch tests and may not run the test every day. Ideally the results should be available the same day the specimen is collected.
