Is it alright to take adipex if you are on synthyroid for hypothyroidism?

Possibly not: Because the adipex can increase heart rate and the synthroid (thyroxine) can increase heart rate, the two together could increase heart rate too much.

Yes but no: Should not be contraindicated if you are on the proper dose of synthroid (thyroxine). However I am not sure if adipex is a good medication to take regardless.
