A member asked:

Is it possible for your body to eventually reject suppositories?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not sure: Do you mean they lose effectiveness or your body cannot tolerate them? Or unable to insert them? Or retain them? Please clarify what you mean. Any prolonged use of the same type of suppository may cause problems--they are for short term use only, so discuss their use with your doctor, he/she may have a better suggestion for you.
