A member asked:

Is it possible for coumandin and asprin cause paralysis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ANTICOAGULANT CAUSE : Yes antocoagulants like Aspirin and Coumadin (warfarin) can rarely cause hemorrhagic stroke as it can cause spontaneous bleeding in weakened blood vessel in brain.Risk is particularly high in over 75 olds. Aspirin/coumadin are prescribed as a preventive drug for ischemic stroke and heart attack but can cause hemorrhagic stroke more so in patient over the age of 75.
