Is it abnormal to have my period twice in one month? What does that mean?

Possible: The menstrual cycle can vary from 21 to 36 days. So some months could have 2 periods and be normal. If the periods are closer than 21 days from start of one to the start of the next, it is not normal.

What can it mean when you have two periods within one month?

Depends on frequency: Average menstrual cycle interval is about 28 days. Once in a while, a woman may experience two periods in a month and still be reasonably normal if they occurred at the beginning and the end of the month. However, having periods more often than every 21 days is not normal and deserves evaluation.
