My partner started working 7 weeks ago and on a nightime his right hand keeps swelling up and is very painful, what could be causing it?

Neuritis: Repetitive trauma to the wrist could result in a carpel tunnel type syndrome. Sometimes nsaid's could be helpful in reducing symptoms. Can take before and after work providing he has no allergies or GI problems. Neurologist or hand surgeon can give a more definitive diagnosis.
