No: Healthy women who have sexual intercourse frequently get uti's. Certain factors, like using spermicides or diaphragms for contraception, or not drinking very much fluid (dehydration) can increase your risk. Hot tubs or any tub baths can cause more vaginitis (yeast).

Not a commmon thing: Hot-tub can cause skin infections/folliculitis; certainly can cause infection on/around the vagina areas causing symptoms of vaginitis etc...Often, pseudomonas are the offending bugs, and they can be cause of uti, but e. Coli makes up the bulk of cause >70%. If you are having symptoms of UTI or vaginitis, your doc can help sort it out and provide rx accordingly. Good luck.
