A bit low but...: "Normal" resting heart rate for men is 60-100, though 57 concerns me less than if it was 90. Those who are in good athletic condition may have lower heart rates. 57 is close enough to normal to be of minimal concern.
PS If you are on Lipitor (atorvastatin) I consider it essential to also take CoQ10.

Heart Rate: During sleep, HR in healthy people can even go as low as 30s. As long as asymptomatic, no problem. Upto 100 is normal by definition, however, resting and above 80 concerns us for a number of conditions.
