A member asked:

Is there any medication that can combat dyslexia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No silver bullet: Dyslexia is felt to be a due to a wiring problem in the brain where the link between seeing & interpreting the content of written words is not quite right. No medication or colored lenses or other such crap will change this. If a patient has an additional problem such as add, medication may help s/he lead to deal with the learning issues better.
