It Shows UP: It ceratainly may seem to appear as the need for reading increases. But one is born with the problem .The severity varies which is why it appears to show later.

In a word, no.: Dyslexia is something one is born with. It is possible, thtough various compensations, to get through school and not realize you have it until later, but generally speaking, one does not develop it later in life.
