Transplant! ASAP!: There is no known cure for giant cell myocarditis, it is rapidly fatal within 6 months in 70% of cases. You need to get to a transplant center immediately for an emergency heart transplant or a bridging device such as an lvad (left ventricular assist device). If not fatal, it will be treated the same as other causes of congestive heart failure, with medications.
