Best to check: Dentists usually deal with literally hundreds of insurance companies. The best way to know what is covered is to check with the hr department of your employer or call the company that administers medi cal.

State specific : Each state decides what benefits it provides. In california, based on your age, only emergency treatment and extractions are covered.
