A member asked:

Is it better to breathe through your nose or mouth when you are exercising?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nose: The nose is an air processor. It warms, filters and humidifies the air you breath so that when it gets to your lungs it is clean, warm and moist - just the way the lungs like it. By mouth breathing your lungs have to work harder because the air hasn't been processed.
