A member asked:

How long should it take to recover from a dislocated hip?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Was there a fracture? If not it can take up to 6 months minimum. 12 months is not unheard of. Rehab, rehab, rehab. Muscle balance, esp glute strength.
