Depends: U need the shot unless you are sure you had CP as a child..Some who had it before 1yr of age or who have immune problems may have minimal protection & need a shot. As you age, natural immunity may wain enough that your previous infection comes out of hibernation as shingles. A high potency shingles vaccine can boost immunity for this group.
