A sociopath: It doesn't matter so much the difference between perpetrators' preferences. They all gain something from sadistically harming others. I don't specialize in treating perpetrators. I typically work with the survivors. Perpetrators usually are without remorse and typically are not treatable. Confinement is the treatment of choice.
