Bridge or implant: The advantage of a fixed bridge will be less appointments, less out of pocket and overall cost. The disadvantage of a bridge is that 1. It is a 10 year fix and 2. The dentist has to grind down the teeth on either side of the space. The disadvantage of and implant us that it is a few months or more from start to finish, it requires a minor surgery to complete. Adv of implant: should lastforever.

Both good options: Both replace missing tooth/teeth. Bridge: relies on surrounding teeth for stability, cannot floss between bridge teeth, faster treatment than implant, often less expensive, especially if you have dental insurance implant: more natural to floss/clean, does not alter surrounding teeth, longer treatment time, often more expensive, helps preserve bone where tooth was lost, will not get a cavity.
