Depends on situation: Independent walking at 15 m is on the upper end of normal for a milestone. If premature, you must adjust this margin for the level of prematurity. I would want to look the kid over & be sure there were no other features of developmental delay present. Many physicians do brief developmental screening questionnaires or tests during checkups. If none have been done recently i would look into it.
