Depends: If you are nursing, then it is highly variable when you will get your period. If you are not nursing, then you will probably get your period about 6 weeks after the baby is born.

Usu. a few months: Depending on hormonal surges and breast feeding etc, it may be a month, or it may be several. Be cautious though, as just because you do not have an active cycle, you still may be able to get pregnant, so practice safe sex. Good luck.
