What would happen if you were in need of an emergency surgery and had no insurance?

You will get care: An emergency room is required by law to care for a patient's emergency conditions, with or without insurance, you would get the emergency surgery as indicated by your condition.

You would get care: Despite any statements used to justify passage and political selling of obamacare, if you need emergency surgery you will get it in this country. Of course, not having health insurance means you will get a larger bill, just like any other service in the country.

No problem: If you need an emergency operation, you will most certainly get it. However, paying for it may be problematic... And that is the biggest problem we have in delivery of healthcare in the U.S... Ultimately, if you are "poor" there is no problem... You will get you emergency healthcare for free. If you are "middle class" and don't have health insurance, then emergency surgery might affect you.
