Keep Asthma control: The most important thing is to keep the asthma under control. 1/3 of patients get worse during pregnancy, 1/3 gets better, and 1/3 stay the same. First, eliminate as many triggers for her asthma as she can. Then use medications that are safe in pregnancy. Asthma/allergist specialist can help with triggers and giving you safe medications. Alternative medications are not always safe in pregnancy.
