A member asked:

My wife got asthma at the time of pregnancy, and how to take care of it ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Asthma & pregnancy: Depending on severity of her asthma see either her primary care doctor or asthma specialist, usually a board certified allergist. The onset of asthma during pregnancy is not unusual, possibly due to hormonal changes. Treatment is started related to severity and modified in response to control as with all asthmatics. Don't delay, get evaluated and appropriate treatment.
