Yes...but...: Sure - gas is likely. But you have got to be seen to rule out a more serious thing like pulmonary embolus or heart disease. Yes - they are less likely, but given how serious they can be, and that pregnancy increases your risk, you need to be checked. Good luck!

How far along?: The things we think about are fairly different lists depending on what stage of pregnancy you're in. Try more detail. How long has it been hurting? Are your lower legs and feet swollen. Is there any history of blood clots in the family? During pregnancy, the answer is always "maybe" to "could it be gas?"
