PMDD: Pmdd is a condition were a woman has severe depression symptoms, irritability, and tension in the 5-10 days before menstruation. The symptoms of pmdd are more severe and debilitating than in premenstrual syndrome (pms). They usually remit when menstruation begins. Mood swings; panic attacks; trouble sleeping; feeling out of control; and several other symptoms all can be seen in pmdd.
