PMDD: A syndrome of physical and emotional symptoms taking place during the luteal phase and usually the week before menstruation improving with blood flow. Depressive mood, irritability, poor motivation & interest, sleep problems, decreased concentration, rapid mood changes. Anxiety & tension, hopelessness. Resulting in drop in level of functioning and interpersonal conflicts. It is a treatable.
